Bridal Shower Etiquettes | 8 Things To Know About Bridal Shower

Bridal Shower is a pre-wedding celebration held in honor of the bride-to-be.

It is usually an intimate women-only event.

As an event planner, I have a few tips for you on the bridal shower.

Check the following eight (8) etiquettes below;

1. Who hosts a bridal shower?

Usually, it is always the maid of honor, bride’s maid, bride’s mom, or even the groom’s mom.

2. Who to Invite?

Looking or start wondering about who to invite to is not a problem at all.

Very simple, invite the people who you have invited to the main wedding as well.

3. When to host a bridal shower?

You can choose it for a couple of months before the wedding or night at your wedding.

4. How many people?

You can invite 5-10 people to attend by sending them invites.

Also, send the invitation to them away from the time so that your guests can prepare themselves.

5. Where to host a bridal shower?

The best place to host a shower is somewhere close to where the bride lives.

Also, you can host it in a hotel, garden, or restaurant.

But make sure it is a place convenient and adequate.

6. How to style a bridal shower?

Although possibilities are endless but keep it minimal and casual.

You can decide to invite the groom to come in towards the end of the event to present a gift to the bride-to-be.

7. What happens at the bridal shower?

Food, but most preferably you can go for small chops.

The reason why small chops are preferable is that the event is not for people to come and eat and get filled.

Also, drinks (cocktails), gifts, and games happen at a bridal shower.

It is about having fun and not eating alone.

8. How long should a bridal shower be?
